My Dream Celebrity Dinner Table
Like many gay men, I care a lot about celebrities. I have been fascinated by pop culture since I was a child. The funny thing about me writing this is I do not dream of meeting celebrities. I would never pay extra for a meet and greet, or chase down a celebrity if they were in my city. However, deciding which group of celebrities I would want to break bread with excites me for whatever reason.

This is not necessarily a list of my favorite celebrities. While I generally enjoy these people, it is also about who I would want to actually meet. I need to take into account who be a fun time, create a welcoming atmosphere, and not ruin my perception of them. I also need to make sure it would be a somewhat cohesive group. I would love some drama, but we do not need anyone flipping a table.
Wendy Williams
What pisses me off more than anything in the year of our lord 2026 is how many fake Wendy Williams fans have emerged. Back in the day when she was on the air I was always met with judgement and criticism when I expressed my love for her antics. Today suddenly everyone always loved her, and I smell some liars. Anyways, I think she would bring the perfect amount of drama. Things would not go to blows, but Wendy would know the right buttons to push to keep things interesting.
Maluma
For those who do not know, Maluma is a popular Colombian singer. He is mainly on this list because he is quite possibly the hottest man alive. He has been my celebrity crush since I was about seventeen and also seems to have a fun personality. I also like his music from his old stuff to newer albums.
Marcello Hernandez
Hot and funny. Do I need to say anything else?
Lisa Barlow
I needed to pick at least one Real Housewife. There are many Housewives who I love on the show, but would never want to meet in person. Lisa Barlow is the perfect choice. She as a fun personality, gorgeous fashions, and she follows me on TikTok. Basically we are already friends. To add icing on the cake, she owns a tequila company which is my favorite liquor.
Karol G
Not only is Karol G my favorite singer, she also seems to have the kindest personality. Whenever I see her in an interview she looks cheerful and positive. She has appeared on my Spotify Wrapped every single year, and I want to thank her for creating the backdrop to my life. I never thought music helped me learn Spanish until I started listening to her album Mañana Será Bonito. From 2023 to 2024 I began pronouncing certain words as they are on that album. I remember my friend telling me, "Estás hablando como un reggaetonero." Too much to explain that quote if you don't speak Spanish, you can look it up, sorry.
Trisha Paytas
On a similar note to Wendy Williams, it bothers me how many Trisha Paytas stans have come through the woodwork in recent years. While I am happy for her success, I used to face so much backlash for liking her in the 2010s and even early 2020s. Today it seems that every Gen Z woman and gay man has fallen in love with her. Anyways, I would really like to meet Trish. I definitely have the most parasocial relationship with her of everyone on this list. I feel as if I know her. I have been watching her videos since I was way too young to be watching them. She also is a person who taught me you can struggle with your weight and still be fabulous.
Andy Cohen
You can't have some drama without a moderator. I would need Andy at my dinner table for three reasons: First, I would need the gossip on all Bravo shows. Second, I love his dynamic with Wendy Williams. Third, I would love the career advice. It would be wonderful to speak with a gay man who has been a pioneer of a genre and built himself a dream job.
Cardi B
Lastly, I need Cardi B at the table. If you really think about it Cardi only has a handful of hit songs, but has maintained her A list status through her personality. She would be the life of the party. I would also love for her and Karol G to collab. Maybe this dinner would be the start of that?
